This class aims to introduce stylisation through an approach that focuses on establishing some foundations for creating original movement that is clear, precise, and full of meaning. By experimenting with a few of the principles of the dramatic corporeal mime technique, this session will lead to some exploration of daily actions in order to create a physical understanding about what stylisation means. This practical approach intends to stimulate the development of a small vocabulary that can be used in varied art forms. The class is aimed to performing artists in general (age 18+). Participants should bring / wear clothes suitable for movement training.
