(2010) MEDEIA, A ESTRANGEIRA / MEDEA, THE FOREIGNER – with Patrícia Carreira
A multimedia adaptation to Euripides’ tragedy Medea which focused on immigration issues. This work was a collaborative partnership with the Portuguese director Patrícia Carreira, it was developed between London and Lisbon, and funded by DGArtes in Portugal. (2008 – 2009) SENZA LAMENTO / WITHOUT LAMENT – with Maria Rita Salvi
First created as a site-specific show for the old town of Cupra Marittima in Italy, it was re-worked to be performed on the stage of the Roundhouse and the Colour House Theatre in London. Inspired by Pirandello’s work One, One Hundred and One Hundred Thousand, this physical theatre performance was co-created, co-directed and co-performed with the Italian dancer Maria Rita Salvi.
